▶ Biography

Marco Morelli started in the world of motorcycles when he was just two years old. From a very young age, he showed a great connection with two wheels and, after going through different training categories, he quickly stood out for his speed and determination.

His career officially began in 2017 with the Aspar Team Junior, with which he competed in the Spanish 85GP Championship shortly after turning ten, in July. On that day, he finished fifth in his first race and completed a key first half-season of learning for his development. In 2018, he continued with the team and had a solid season with seven podium finishes in eight races, finishing third in the overall standings, behind his teammate David Alonso, who would go on to win the title, and consolidating his credentials as one of the emerging talents in the pipeline.

After taking his first steps in PreMoto3, he made the leap to the European Talent Cup in 2020, where he already achieved a victory in Jerez. Morelli continued for another year in the category, but unfortunately in 2022 he experienced a break from racing.

In 2023, he came back stronger than ever and earned a spot to compete in the Red Bull Rookies Cup. That year, he achieved his first podium finish and fought for the top three on several occasions. The same year, he also returned to the European Talent Cup and combined both competitions to continue gaining experience. In 2024, he repeated in both tournaments: in the European Talent Cup, he was runner-up after scoring six podiums, including two victories; while in the Rookies Cup, he finished the year in the top 10, with two wins and a total of three podiums.

The 2025 season has been a great year in Marco Morelli's sporting career. He has competed in the Rookies Cup for the third consecutive season, but his best results have come in the JuniorGP, in his debut year. Morelli completed an almost perfect second half of the season, scoring six podiums in the last seven races, including four victories, which was not enough to win the title. In addition, in 2025 he also competed in his first races in the Moto3 World Championship as a substitute rider: he made his official debut at the Czech Grand Prix and participated regularly from the Catalan Grand Prix onwards.

His recent performances have earned him a place as a permanent rider in the Moto3 World Championship in 2026 with the CFMOTO Aspar Team. Morelli will thus return to the team that saw him take his first steps in competition to continue growing in his sporting career.
